How to Store Guavas

Place
Place whole guavas in Glad® Food Storage Zipper Bags and close loosely.

Refrigerate
Store in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator.

To store cut guava, place pieces into a GladWare® food protection container, then refrigerate.

How to Freeze Guavas

Prepare
Peel and halve guavas.

Make
In a saucepan, make a thin syrup of 4 parts water to 2 parts sugar. Warm to dissolve the sugar, then let cool.

Place
Place guavas Freezer Zipper bags or FreezerWare™. Pour syrup over cover, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.

Freeze
Remove as much air as possible if using bags and seal. Place in the deepest part of the freezer.
