How to Store Parsnips

Seal
Seal whole, unpeeled parsnips in a Glad® Food Storage Zipper Bag. Squeeze as much air as possible out of the bag when sealing

Seal cut parsnips in GladWare® food protection containers.

Refrigerate
Place parsnips in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator.
Keeps for 8–10 months
How to Freeze Parsnips

Boil
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cut parsnips into large dice.

Blanch
Blanch for 3 mins, then remove and plunge into ice water for 3 mins.

Transfer
Transfer to Glad® Freezer Zipper bag.

Freeze
Seal, removing as much air as possible if using bags. Place in the deepest part of the freezer.
