How to Store Leeks

Place
Place unwashed, untrimmed leeks in a Glad® Food Storage Zipper Bag.

Close
Loosely close the bag around the leeks without sealing.

Refrigerate
Place bag in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator.
Keeps for 4–6 months
How to Freeze Leeks

Prepare
Trim and halve leeks. Clean thoroughly, then slice into half moons of desired size.

Freeze
Spread on a sheet pan and place in freezer until completely frozen.

Transfer
Transfer to a Freezer Zipper bag or FreezerWare™ container.

Freeze
Remove as much air as possible if using bags, then seal. Place in the deepest part of the freezer.
