Do not rinse or stem chard before storing.

To store cut chard, seal in a GladWare® food protection container.

Seal
To store whole leaves, seal in a Glad® Food Storage Zipper Bag. Squeeze air out before closing.
Keeps up to 12 months in Freezer Zipper Bags; 6 months in FreezerWare™
How to Freeze Chard

Blanch
Boil washed and trimmed chard for 2 minutes. Then plunge into ice water for 2 minutes.

Pack
Pack dried chard into Freezer Zipper bags or FreezerWare™.

Freeze
Remove as much air as possible if using bags. Place in the deepest part of the freezer.
