How to Store Plums

Wait
Whole plums should be stored at room temperature until ripened.

Cover
Once ripe, the plums can be kept whole in a bowl in the refrigerator and covered with Glad® Press n’ Seal wrap.

Cut
Or, to store cut plums, remove pits and cut fruit into chunks or wedges of desired size.

Refrigerate
Seal in a GladWare® food protection container and store in the refrigerator.

How to Freeze Plums

Prepare
Wash and dry plums. Remove pits and cut into slices, then place on a sheet pan.

Place
Place in the freezer and leave until completely frozen.

Transfer
Transfer to Freezer Zipper bags or FreezerWare™ containers.

Freeze
Seal, removing as much air as possible (from bags). Place in the deepest part of the freezer.
